Redeveloping a pre-existing building with serious structural problems: it can be quite a challenge. Nonetheless, architectural firm DFG Architetti seized the opportunity to create something truly unique. “Indeed, the Dental Clinic’s design is strongly influenced by the original structure” say the architects. “But our philosophy, as in every project, aims at creating buildings that connect seamlessly to their surroundings and that create balance with climatic conditions such as sunlight and wind. We believe that we have respected our original idea and have created something different for this region.”
